Chasing the Sunset
This new album is the culmination of collective musical growth since the release of our debut album Little Sky in 2015. In the interim, Kathleen has lived in Ireland, the Netherlands, and now lives in Glasgow, Scotland; Everest spent half a year abroad in France and just moved to Montréal, Québec; and Guillaume has lived a quiet, charming existence at home in Putney, VT.
Despite our geographic distance, our love for playing together has only grown. While we have continued to fly Kathleen back to the States to play for contra dance weekends, we have all collectively fallen in love with contemporary bal folk and Scottish music throughout our travels. This album represents these new musical influences while remaining true to our roots as New England dance musicians.
